In the summer of 2016, my family and I were getting ready to go on a vacation to Belize.  Although I had never traveled to Belize before, vacation and travel was not something new to me--especially when it came to tropical destinations.  As I went through my mental checklist of things I needed to pack, making note of the items I had run out of and would need to go buy from the local pharmacy, I got to mosquito repellent.  An item I would need to go pick up from the store, I thought about which brand I would purchase.  Over the years, I had tried several different mosquito repellent brands, to no avail.  It was in that moment that I decided to create my own concoction to fight off insect bites on my upcoming trip.  Little did I know just how effective it would be!  My family and I have been bite-free since, enjoying numerous destinations across the globe including Cuba, Dominican Republic, Aruba, Spain, and Hawaii.
